Checks must be post-marked by March 27th, 2009: Add $5 per Person after due date. Please note: Seats are limited. Reservation is strictly on first come first serve basis. Please reserve your entry by sending in your commitment via checks at the earliest. In the past we had to unfortunately decline requests for tickets after the deadline. Entry will not be permitted at the gate either. Also, note that verbal and/or E-mail commitments will not be accepted as a method of reserving seats and Cancelled Check will be your Receipt.


Membership Info

Membership fee for the calendar year (January to December) of 2009 is $15 per family or $10 per person. Life membership fee is $150 per family.

Route 495 North or South take Exit 43 - Massachusetts Ave. to N. Andover Proceed to the second set of lights on Massachusetts Ave, turn left - You are now on Route 125 Go through one set of lights then take the first right on to Park St. (V.F.W. building on the corner) Proceed to first intersection and take left on to Osgood St. Follow Osgood St. (approx. 1/10 mile); sign for North Andover High School is on your left.

Student 2009 Scholarship Award

Deadline: February 15, 2009

The Indian Association of Merrimack Valley (IAMV) invites college bound students to apply for the IAMV Student 2009 Scholarship Award. Students of the IAMV members must be paid member of the year 2007, 2008 and 2009 to be eligible are invited to submit applications for scholarships.

Scholarships awards are expected to be $500 each. The number of awards will depend on scholarship contribution received in this year.

The award(s) will be presented to the student(s) at the 2009 annual Holi Celebration. Scholarships are awarded competitively on academic merit by way of selection panel.

Completed applications must be mailed or postmarked by February 15, 2009. Applications received after February 15, 2009 postmarked may be rejected.

Youth Group

IAMVís Youth Group is a lively, vibrant community of teens who enjoy sharing lifeís many experiences with each other. Youth Group provides exciting events in a warm, nurturing environment for all who wish to participate. IAMV's youth groups offer a multitude of activities including social, religious, cultural, athletic, community service and more, all designed to provide opportunities for youth to meet and interact in a positive Indian environment.

The overall program follows the guidelines set forth by the IAMV to provide youth with experiences and opportunities in the community service and leadership. The Youth Group activities are planned and implemented by the youth and adult leaders with the guidance of our Youth Programs Coordinator. Each year is a new year for Youth Group. We invite all teens with interest and involvement to participate in youth activities. Parents of eligible youth, age 13-18. Holi Cultural Program

The deadline for participating and to submit entries in the cultural program for Holi is Feb 2, 2009 IAMV cultural committee will confirm the entries by FEB 9, 2009. For audition, decision of IAMV cultural committee will be final. Please contact Mamta Lohia at mlohia@comcast.net or 978-974-0629 to submit participantís entries. Also, visit the website at www.iamv.org for a complete information, rules and regulations for all upcoming cultural events.

Please Note: All the selected participants must send their Checks by FEB 23, 2009 to reserve their place in the cultural program. Failing to do so will cause their entry to be cancelled. Please include a form with detailed note about who you are paying for with Last Name of Parents and Children. If you are paying for someone else, please provide details of that Family.
